ABOUT

hi,

welcome to my website. 

I spent 12 years in the food industry before reaching food styling. I began my journey from baking and pastry school at The Oregon Culinary Institute. I went from baking pastries and breads overnight to short order cooking for breakfast in small cafes in upstate New York. When I moved back home to California I got a job as a young pastry cook in wine country. I learned from a French chef who prepped me to be a hot line cook, he also taught me how to butcher meat and fish, an asset I still use to this day. Another mentor brought me into food styling as an assistant in 2021. I have worked in many establishments from coffee roasteries, artisanal donut shops, a produce market, to fine-dining in hotels. I have been a Pastry Chef, a Sous Chef, a line cook, a culinary student, and today I am- a food stylist. I love the new challenges that present themselves each time I'm on set- lets play with food and make some pretty things to eat!
